The new FLOAT X2 is the world’s first 4-way adjustable monotube mountain bike shock, purpose-built for Enduro and Downhill racing. With a completely new chassis and internals, the move to a monotube design delivers major performance upgrades—enhancing durability and enabling full pressure balancing for faster response and better control.
Designed to close the gap between shock and fork performance, the FLOAT X2 was developed alongside the GRIP X2 damper and now offers ultimate grip, improved support, and reduced rider fatigue. With a larger base valve, more individual valves, and a pressure-balanced tune, the new X2 rides with increased predictability and confidence—even at race pace.
The 4-way adjustability includes both high- and low-speed compression and rebound, offering unmatched control. A newly engineered VVC (Variable Valve Control) system uses a cam-and-gear adjuster to tune high-speed rebound—something never before seen in a monotube shock.
With a larger ½” (12.7mm) main shaft, increased durability, and the same trophy truck-like ride feel FOX is known for, the FLOAT X2 delivers elite-level performance in every condition.
